Optifine for FTB

Before you just tell me to google it. I have been doing that for almost an hour now.

Everywhere I go there is ONLY an optifine download link for a version of minecraft newer than 1.4.7 , and nowhere I go has the link for the 1.4.7 version.

Could someone help me out on how to download optifine for FTB. A way that is UP-TO-DATE. There was a guide released 6 days ago but it is already out of date also.

Help would be greatly appreciated because FTB is pretty much unplayable for me ATM.

No one reads anymore.

I asked where I could get the link for the 1.4.7 Version which seems to have disappeared off the internet. Not for Every other version.

Let me make this very fucking clear because you have a broken keyboard and are clearly doing your search from typewriter with one hand behind your back!

Optifine for 1.4.6 works on 1.4.7! 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 are basically the exact same fucking thing.

Normally, if you wnat a working computer at the end of the day, you dont go around "trying every possible version" to see if it works. Changes could be subtle, and do bad stuff in the long run that would be hard to repair.

some versions aren't compatible with versions just before it. Some are. Most people cannot recall off hand if 1.4.6 and 1.4.7 are for the most part compatible.[DOUBLEPOST=1373915963][/DOUBLEPOST]

I was pretty apprehensive to even the Factorization downgrade for the minion stone bug because that version was 1.4.6 and then it went to 1.5 as well. Alas I saw numerous reports of success, and everything is good so far...

I just have the issue of INSTALLING the darn thing while FTB is in place

1. select the pack you use
2. click the button to change mods
3. click jar mods
4. click add something
5. choose the optitine for your version of minecraft
6. close all those dialogs
7. launch the mod pack
8. guess what happens now! (no, it doesn't involve explosions)
