Optifine Connected Textures Crash Unleashed

Dear reader,

I recently installed Optifine on Unleashed, and it all worked fine, until I traveled to the Twighlight. I randomly crashed with this Report:

Reading it I saw that it crashed with getConnectedTexture() or at least it was in it, so I disabled connected textures in optifine. Does anyone know what happens?

This does not belong in the "Modpack Bugs" section of the forums. It is not a bug in a modpack.

The problem is optifine unless you really really need it then remove it because it does not work well with forge mods.
