Optifine causes chunk-load error with direwolf20

Title Optifine causes chunk-load error with direwolf20

Launcher Type Twitch Desktop App

Modpack Direwolf20

Modpack version 1.0.0; mc 1.12.2

Have you modified the pack? No

Details of the issue the modpack runs fine itself, but when i install
OptiFine 1.12.2 HD U C6, it will crash when i load any map, saying that there is an error loading a chunk, with an array out of bounds exception. I reinstalled java, it didnt work.

it works fine with optifine removed, but i would like to make it work with it, if possible.

any suggestions?

Did you try contacting with author of optifine?
