Optifine C3 block up-date

I am still getting update issues..(water,lava and leaves). I am wondering if an older optifine will fix the issue or just tough it out until it is fixed?

Optfine always needs to reach around version 5-6 before it's fully bug free. Older optifines won't work due to the update of Forge in FTB.

Time being, be patient. At least at the moment I can now use my texture pack again, even though block updates are sluggish, torches don't break off blocks and pressure plates are a bit iffy.

Preview C3 works with Forge #518.
The Forge versions 506 to 515 will not work properly with C3 (block update issues), because Forge introduced new block update logic which is also incompatible between the Forge versions.

I believe the C3 update was because of issues with Redpower, also looks like the best you can do is wait at the moment.

I updated Forge in my DW20 pack, block rendering issues were resolved.

Looks like Optifine C2 is compatible with Forge versions up to #516. C3 is compatible with #518 and higher. This is what's causing your problems. Make sure your Forge and Optifine versions match.
