Optifine and Ultimate Pack

I downloaded Optifine and tried putting it in the minecraft.jar and that didn't work so then I added it to the mods and jarmods in the FTB launcher and I keep getting a black screen with this error in the console.

It just needs to go in jarmods in the FTB launcher, no where else. Also which version of Optifine did you download?

Thanks a lot dude ! This helped completely, also I know this is the wrong forums but if you have played Terrafirmacraft how do you put Optifine on that because I get the same issue. Should I run it with Magic Launcher?

I don't really know much about Terrafirma it's been a long time since I last played it and I can't remember off the top of my head if I used Optifine, but as long as you are running the forge version of it then it should be the same process, but to be honest I have no idea. It might be worth checking the Terrafirmacraft forums, as undoubtedly someone has asked this.

No worries I figured it out, I'm just going to use Magic Launcher it works wonderfully for just putting certain mods together they are like your own little FTB modpacks it can check what is compatible with what. Thanks for all your help!
