Optifine and Infinity Evolved

I cannot figure out how to work optifine with Infinity evolved 1.7.10 on the new FTB/Curse launcher. If anyone can help me out that would be greatly appreciated ;D

Optifine can just be dropped into the mod folder nowadays.

I did that but it doesn't show up when I load into the game. None of the options are there and the mod is not listed

Huh, now that you mention it, I vaguely remember something similar happening to me but I don't remember how it was resolved. Sorry.

Did you make sure to drop it in the correct folder? The default install for curse is gonna be roughly like this: C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\FTB Infinity Evolved. You will want to make sure you put optifine in the mods folder here for it to be recognized if you are running ftb infinity through curse. If you are running it through the old launcher it would be under %appdata%.
