Opis being uncooperative (1.6.4)

This is the install of Opis which comes with Techworld 2 1.1.7 for MC 1.6.4.

Opis is online and working somehow, when i try one of the old commands like /opis_run
it tells me "DEPRECATED, use /opis instead"

/opis however......simply does NOTHING. Wtf boom.

Opis view permissions in the .cfg are set to NONE as they should be.
I am running java 7.
Since it is my own server running on my own machine, i am obviously Op too, so no restrictions of any kind should apply.....

/opis is supposed to open a new window outside of the game. Maybe you miss it because you have the game in full screen?

Good idea, but sorry no, i should have said, that is the first thing i checked. I will check again though, just to be sure.

Edit: Checked again. No Window on screen with everything else minimzed. Nothing in the alt-tab menu, nothing in task manager. Not cooperating.

Edit2: I g2g now, but i will reinstall my client later. I did some minor change sto it, nothign that should affect opis, but who knows.Computers are like that ^^

Reinstalled techworld, no luck. Opis is there but it will not show me the gui. Not getting any Server/Console errors. Just not doing anything.
Is the GUI actually an own process ? A separate instance of java ? I do have an industrial grade firewall on my machine, it may be blocking something. But usually it would raise all hell and TELL me that somebody is trying to start new processes and ask for authorization.

Hmm, put Java on the expressed whitelist both for network and sub processes - probably not the safest setting *trollface* - no change. Looks like Opis doesn't like me. Get rekt, stupid mod. Not game breaking - server performance is ok - as to be expected with 2-3 people playing. I was just curious about the lag caused by some mods.
