I have watched many youtube videos and posts online but still cannot seem to get it to work, I have tried adding radio stations and still keep getting errors:
http://pastebin.com/D1tyKkXv
Does anyone know how to add radio stations to the radio in openblocks as even the radio cards that by default spawn in are still not spawning even when they are enabled in the config.
I play on direwolf20 1.6.4 V1.0.23
Thanks!
Krazy

With the latest update for OpenBlocks, the radio now requires an additional mod called "NotEnoughCodecs" to work. I don't think this has been added to any of the packs yet, so you have to install it yourself. http://www.openblocks.info

Even before that, I had a heck of a time getting the config set up right. I think the problem was having a hard return next to either of these <> (or maybe something else since the returns are still in there). Anyhow, this is what my working config looks like:
radio {
# Add tuned crystals as loot in chests
B:enableChestLoot=true

# Maximum number of sources playing at one time
I:maxSources=3

# List any radio stations you want

Once you get the crystals working, the next step is volume control!

Radio's volume is dependent on the redstone signal strength. (if you didn't already know that)

The trick is coming up with a design that is compact, easy to use, and attractive. The buttons on the right will raise and lower the volume from 0 to 9 (uses 2 droppers & a comparator).

You could eventually use ComputerCraft but I'm not sure the version monster uses has the added methods for signal strength. eventually we will be able to have one of those huge 80's style sound systems, the ones that still have that record player above it.

Actually that could be an idea, if you put 2 note blocks stacked beside each side of a radio and a record player above it maybe it should turn in to a multiblock sound system. They could make a new item (Audio leads made from copper, wool/rubber and red and yellow dye) to prompt this structure so the radio isn't constantly doing block checks. The advantage could be that it stores and lets you toggle your crystals and records, maybe even a built in volume dial, possibly also let you set a record playlist. Could even go a step further and add CD's that play custom music. MP3's maybe (or whatever the kids use these days).

Someone bumped the earlier thread where I had gotten mine working. My original problem was that java didn't like the smart quotes my text editor was placing in the config. That took a heck of a lot of fiddling to figure out.

Something is wrong with the 471st line of the OpenBlocks.cfg file. Mind pastebinning that?
I figured something out, If I delete the original config file made when I started the server the new config file created for openblocks is different to the original one as it contains all the default radio stations however when I tried to use this new config it would not let me join the server when I launched it.
