Hey folks,
Watched a few vids on the OpenBlocks Auto Enchantmet table hooked up to a tank and xp drain so thought I would give it a try. Everything's fine except I can't seem to get xp into the table. There's a fluiduct (Opaque) underneath the table connected to the tank. The table is configured to auto drink with the bottom of the table selected.

Any ideas?? I know I'm doing something stupid... only problem is that I'm too stupid to spot it!

Thanks

This threw me for a long time. If I recall right, the Table gui has a 3d picture of the table. That picture can be CLICKED on a specific side to indicate where the input goes in. You can't just check the box that says "auto drink"; you need to also indicate which side is the input.

Sorry if you've already done this.

Thanks for the reply. Yeah, I think I've done that. After rotating the table in the config window I clicked the bottom of it, and it put a reddish 'glow' on it. I'm assuming this means it's done, but the xp bar on the main table gui refuses to fill. What makes it worse is the 2 zombies peering through the window on the door having hysterics at my epic failness :-(

Obvious question, is your tank actually outputing. If its not hooked up to the bottom middle, you need to send redstone signal to the fluiduct output and set it to output mode.

Then yes, make sure that the AET is set to accept from the side its hooked up to.

I like obvious questions. They're usually precisely the one's that I haven't thought of. This is the first time I've used a fluiduct pipe, so the answer was no. I simply connected the pipe between the tank and the AET. "you need to send redstone signal to the fluiduct output and set it to output mode". That sounds like the solution then. I have no idea what any of it means but I'll do some searching and see if I can work it out! Many thanks.

hah awesome, glad you're on the right track. The "reddish glow" in the gui took me more than an hour to figure out, hence I leapt to the conclusion everyone else was failing at it...

For your fluiduct/redstone signal thing, two options

1) Put a lever adjacent to the fluiduct where it is "pulling" from the tank. Flip the lever when you want to output (or leave it flipped till you want to stop outputing)
2) Create a pneumatic servo (i think is what its called); Right click the same output part of the fluiduct. You'll get a message saying you've successfully attached it. Next, right-click that same spot again (without a tool) and you'll open a GUI. Set it to ignore redstone signals, and it will just always pull fluids for you.

Ahhhhh found it. "To pull liquids out of a machine that does NOT auto-output right click the connection between the machine and the Fluiduct with a wrench. Then apply a redstone signal with a torch, lever or redstone block."

Will test it as soon as I can. Many thanks all. Those zombies will mock me no further.[DOUBLEPOST=1394466802][/DOUBLEPOST]

Great. Thanks for that!!

aaaaaaannnnd..... It works!!! I think the quote I grabbed from the wiki was outdated as it describes the tool as a "wrench", when in fact it's a "crescent hammer". Now, where are those zombies......

Actually, both are correct. There are a ton of those wrenches and hammers, and the mod authors frequently make them cross-mod compatible. How nice!
