I was exploring around in the Twilight Forest with my Advanced Jetpack. I eventually found a lich tower. I didn't know what it was and walked right on in. I was swarmed with skellies and zombies, thankfully I could fly into the air and light them on fire with my enchanted sword. Once that was dealt with, I looted all the chests and flew upwards. I lit up the monster spawners properly. I got up to the top. And of course, the server I was playing on was saving, so it was a bit laggy. I see the Lich, and start getting hurt, a lot. I had almost full Nano Armor, except for the chest piece (most important) because of my Jetpack. I flew down, and tried to escape. I died. I also forgot to set Death Waypoints... Thankfully I got all of my stuff, but died a few times in the process.
Another time, on this same server I was in the server-wide Quarry Age. It is a superflat Savanna biome. As you can imagine, we have quite a bit of ThaumCraft dungeons. I was exploring around and found one. My nano armor was extremely low, but I forgot about that and decided to loot. This was also 100% pointless as I have almost anything I could ask for besides Iridium. I break in through the bars and see no wisps! SWEET! Unfortunately since where this dungeon is was chunkloaded for a bit (it was near a Quarry) there were SO MANY Creepers, Zombies, and Skeletons. There were a few spiders but I managed to kill them all. As you can imagine, I cornered myself spam-clicking with my enchanted sword, I died, and a Creeper blew up. I spawned back at my house, went to the age and sprint jumped to my deathpoint. It was about 600m away, so I had to kill some pigs so I could regen health. I saw my Nano Armor, and tools sitting there, on the other side of the pit and creeper holes. I also saw a bunch of skeletons and zombies. I lurred a couple of each outside to burn alive, but that wasn't any good. I quickly ran in, grabbed my tools and armor and equipped it all. I set my Jetpack off of Hover Mode to quickly gather my stuff. I lost some junk like my Fortune 3 Efficiency 4 Advanced Diamond Drill... Luckily we have an enchanted book farm on the server. But it was still a huge pain in the ass to remake that drill.
Both of these happened on the same night...
