Summary of the problem Only fluid cows spawn

Pack Version 2.5.4

What is the bug? The only animals that have ever spawned on our grass pad throughout our entire time playing have been MooFluid cows. No cows, no pigs, not even a chicken. :(
My current workaround is to kill fluid cows and turn the meat into other meats with Botania, but it's getting really annoying that we don't have a reliable source of animal drops.

Mod & Version MooFluids-1.7.10-1.5.01.19a

Is it repeatable? I haven't tested it in any other worlds, as this is my only one, but I suspect that it would give the same result.
Make a grass pad, fly away from it, see what spawns.

Known Fix None?

If you have a big enough, well-lit grass space, and the overall game mob cap is not at the limit you will get other animals (Sheep, Cows, Chickens, Horses, Pigs) spawning and if a Jungle biome, scads of Ocelots. In some biomes (at least Magical Forests), I've even gotten Coven Witches and Hobgoblins.

Btw: Some biomes, like Oceans, pretty much only spawn Fluid cows (and Squid if water and low enough).

One other way to get animals is from mystery safari nets. Once you have a breeding pair, you are all set.

Btw: If you take the Fluid Cows and move them to safe (Arcane lamp lit, Magnum torch) pastures + rancher + tesseract, in another dimension (I like platforms in the Last Millennium) you can get ALL the Fluidcows and have more fluid of every type than you can even store. You can move the cows trivially with reusable safari nets; this also removes them from counting against the mob cap in the overworld.

I use this approach plus AE2 storage to setup an array of Casting Basins to make all of the metals in large quantities. My cup runneth over.

P.S.> If all you want is Animal drops, you can also set up Animal Traps with itemducts to fill them with each of the bait types, and more itemduct to empty the animal drops into storage. Be sure to white/black list the bait so it doesn't get removed prematurely.
