- When does the lag start? as soon as he(she) logs in, or sometime afterwords.
- Is there java updated?
- what OS
- What internet speed
- How much ram in the computer and is allocated in the launcher
- is (s)he using any java parameters?
- Can we please have a console log (All of it) for the person having the lag. Please upload it to pastebin.
- Is it possible to check the server log for possible something or another that might be causing this? (Not the entire server log, just the time-frame of this persons lag starting)
)No, it will be in the directory where FTB is installed to....
(He can find that out, it is the folder in the options tab that FTB is set to install to....
Yep That is what I needed....
After those issues are fixed...
- Java is outdated. Instructions are in my signature. They need to be followed to make sure all the other Java is removed.
- FTB is on the desktop. I have noticed it lags less when installed to "C:\FTB\" (Without the quotes) No idea why, but that is what I have noticed.
- He is using a texture pack...
Have him try again and if still lagging then re-post the new log please. (yes, the same place you got the last one, also in debug mode and set to all.)
