Has anyone seen anything like this before? Look at the minimap..its all over the place...this is 1.5.2ngt 0.6

I think there was a thread with something like this before. Most likely a bug that will be fixed later. (It's a beta pack so yeah)

I'm pretty sure it's not a bug. Why does everyone always assume it is? There's a new biome in buildcraft.

It was added to BuildCraft 3.6.0 and is a legit biome.

It is intended. It's supposed to be very rare, but I think that the point is to allow you to get oil without traipsing the entire pumping setup all across the map. Personally, I'm in favour.

On one of my current worlds, I found 4 of them! Power will never be a problem again.

just cover that thing asap if you want to get all the surface oil. Oil is also flammable now and one lightning strike can clear all the surface oil. Though it should snuff out before ti gets down to the pocket below.

Well let's blow some stuff up then! (walks over to oil next to about to be twilight portal) I'd say that's a pretty sweet find, I'd take it all and sell it for large amounts of diamond or something useful to your cause.

Not saying it would be, but if said person just blew up your village his oil well might make a nice firework display.
