Hi. I play infinity evolved single player and need to have the chunks loaded (quarry and stuff) like a server because i cannot keep being in the game all the time. Is there anyway (like making a server on my own pc ) to keep the things going while not being in the game?

After you get it going, you will need to shut it down and delete the World folder it made, and copy / paste your single player World folder.

Does your PC have enough resources to run a server and client on the same PC?

The server would need to be running all the time if you want your game to remain running.

The pc's resources wouldn't be an issue. Thanks.I have another question:
Can other people in my home network connect to that server?

In addition to coping the world folder I would recommend coping over the server properties file which contains your single player world chunk generation seed.

That way when you explore chunks that were not created in your single player world the new server chunks will be generated with the original world seed and you won't get weird/jagged chunk boundaries on the new areas you explore.

That isn't quite correct. He wouldn't have a server.properties file when copying over a single player world to server. In addition the seed in the server.properties file is only used to create a brand new world. Once it is create the seed information stored in the level.dat (part of the world) is used and the seed info in the server.properties file is ignored. Any additional chunks generated use the seed from the level.dat file.
