Operating System, bit type: 64 bit
Java version/update, bit type: Most Recent Version, 64 bit
Launcher version: 1.3.2
Completed the troubleshooting guide (y/n): y
Console log, pastebin.com link: http://pastebin.com/exm63frg
Description of the problem: I tried downloading the new Beta Versions for Minecraft 1.6.4 (Direwolf20, Tech World 2, Monster etc.) and I keep getting an Unhandled Exception: NullPointer. FTB: Unleashed works with no problem so I do not know whats going on.

Anti-malware software and/or firewall: Windows Defender (Windows 8)
Location you're downloading from (per Launcher's Advanced Options): Chicago

C:\Program Files (x86)\FTB\FTBLauncherLog.txt (Access is denied)
It appears that you are trying to run the launcher and install the packs to the Program Files folder. That will cause a lot of errors specifically the ones you are experiencing now. Please follow the trouble shooting guide again carefully and exactly. Part 7 and 8 are parts that you did not follow I'm not sure about any others at the moment there may be more.

Edit: Sorry. Welcome and I thank you for using pastebin.com and posting in the proper format.

Ahh There we go. It seems that running the FTB Launcher as an administrator fixes the problem. Thanks for pointing the Access is Denied error
