Nah. The IC2 addon will stay an addon. I like IC2, and I want to keep it alive.

Big reactors compatibility sounds like a lot of work. I'm not even sure if I can port the dang mod, adding more to it is going to be tough

Thanks for taking a swing at this @xbony2; I think its fantastic.

Ignore folks as they attempt to derail the project or add on to it. You should only concerned about getting it to work properly and basking in our appreciation.

Disconnecting it from IC2 would be basically a re-write in all likelihood. And connecting it to other mods might be nice to have down the road but rests comfortably in the realm of "whatevs."

Don't expect to be.
It took me a while to get good in Lua, and that's a simple, dynamically-typed language.

I have a little gripe with how the Remote Thermal Monitor works. If you set the Remote Thermal monitor to output a redstone signal when the nuclear reactor is in the safe temperature interval, and the Remote Thermal monitor then runs out of power(by whatever reason), it defaults to sending out the redstone signal as everything was ok, leaving the reactor to run without any proper temperature monitoring. The reasonable reaction to loosing power would IMO be to send out the signal opposite to the "safe signal" and thereby turn off the reactor, but as it is in the 1.6.4 version it just sends the same as the "safe signal". This kinda facilitates the need to have safety monitoring on the safety monitoring devices.

Any chance this behaviour could get fixed for the new versions?

I'll look into what it would take to make panels standalone. I find IC2 to be my favorite power system besides BC and GT so I support Xbony not mucking around with other systems, but for the rest of you silly RF users (hehehe ) I will make it a Very Very longterm project
