Not sure how to join a server

I have the single player version running fine with some added mods.


I want to play on a server though, and I can't figure out how. I've tried downloading the server files, but it doesn't change anything. I launch the launcher, and I'm still on the same set of mods I've been on. I thought there would be a way to switch between the single player version and a default server version, but I'm not seeing it.

Do you mean an actual server under multi-player or opening to LAN?

An actual server. I get the same error every time I try to join, and others are on the server, so I know it has to be on my end.

Is it in your log, can you post it?

I actually just got it working. I redownloaded the pack, put it in a different folder, and it seems to be working. I must have just got a bad download. Thanks for the help though!

The lack of intel is disturbing.

May i ask what you did to fix this so others with the same problem later on can solve this issue as well.

I deleted the modpack and reinstalled. Fixed the problem. That's really all.

Previous modpack, couldn't connect. Redownload, can now.
