Windows .jar Not loading mods, tried the trouble shooting already

How many people have been having this problem?

Also, could you ensure that the correct minecraft login is used? Just try to edit and retype your login detail and ensure that your user name and password is correct.

NEVER MIND! I just was about to repost when, LOW AND BEHOLD, it launched up all happy and stuff. well, thanks for your guys' help. If ya ever want to skype me (not that you would want to, but I always offer this) my skype is: sporeluc

I'm having this problem, as well. I updated the mod pack and now forge isn't loading. I then went back to the website, downloaded a fresh .exe launcher, put it in a new folder, and it still won't work. It seems to download about halfway before stopping and launching Minecraft, without loading Forge. I have AVG, so I'll try to see if I can do something about that and see if it works, but I didn't have this problem before...

Edit: Tried making the folder an exception. Still doesn't load forge or have any mods in the Mods folder. My launcher version is 1.0.6

I pretty much have the same thing this guy has. i just loaded my mods from before and it worked FINE. but i want the new mods (without extra bees)

I'm having the same problems. I have tried changing download locations, changing location of the FTB executable, neither worked. Right now, I'm going to try to delete the local files except for my save, see if that works.

EDIT: And suddenly it's working. I deleted the local files and forced an update. The files downloaded much more quickly and FML started up.

I did it by deleting every folder above Saves, then forcing FTB launcher to update. I also noticed that it downloaded much faster than previous attempts, so if it's downloading very chunkily, taking a second before updating the downloaded amount, then it's probably not going to work.

That's the best I can tell, because I have no clue what I did so differently to make it work. :/
