Not Downloading/Updating Modpacks?

When I try to update my mindcrack ftb and when trying to download ultimate and other packs the little "downloading modpack... please wait" thing pops up and nothing else happens. it doesnt download/update it just sits there. am i just doing something stupid?

Anybody else having this issue and knows how to fix it?

Which firewall and antivirus do you use? They may be blocking the connection.

Try disabling them then downloading.
