Hi,

I´m still tinkering around with RotaryCraft and I can´t find a lot of info about it out there in the web since its new.

I´m trieing to get a AC engine working. That fore I need a magnetized Shaft Core.
By putting it into a Magnetizing Unit and giving it 2048 rads/s and 8 nM it seems to do nothing.
Operating time is about 9 seconds(tool tip said me) I let it for more time and I put it more Torque and more Rads but nothing happens.

Am I missing something or is this bugged?

Are you giving it an alternating redstone signal, like with a timer?

Do I have to give it a alternatign redstoen signal? I thoguht this would be for the AC engine.

My problem is that I can not Charge the Shaft Core I need to put into the AC engine.

Edit: Ok you have to do it to this thing too... now its charging. Thx !

Apparently the magnetizer takes AC current as well. I am quoting Reika on this from another thread. I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Considering that AC means alternating current and the fact that in MC redstone is the only thing that somehow represents any form of current one could guess that it is needed for both machines.

But i agree that it could be written more clearly.
