mod pack: FTB-Unleashed

edit: oh single player mode

first off I am very new to minecraft and have only played about 20ish hrs. I have watch quite a few youtube videos on FTB-unleashed mod pack and others, so i have a good idea of how things work.

I'm not sure where i should post this issue, so i brought it here to see if y'all can point me in the right direction.

I am unable to craft a "Rolling Machine" i can look it up with the game's UI and get a pattern for it, but when i put it in a crafting table it does nothing. kind of holding me back i think with out the ability to make tanks and what-not.

thanks for flames and help.

The one made with a crafting table, four pistons, and four iron? Odd, I made one of them the other day and had no problems. Are you sure you aren't using sticky pistons by mistake? Tin and aluminum sometimes look a bit like iron. Sorry if these dumb suggestions are insulting to your intelligence! If it's none of those things, then there must be a problem in your mod pack's config. Is it just a basic, unmodified Unleashed 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 pack?

Check your configs and try a clean reinstall of the modpack if you haven't already.
Also as ^ said, could you tell us what version of the modpack you're playing?

Nope not insulting at all.

running: FTB Unleashed v1.1.3

did a forced update this morning and it still doesn't like it.

i did hover over each item and the crafting table in the middle has a different number than the one i made.
mine= Crafting Table 3283:3
vs
ui pattern= Crafting Table 58

don't know if this matters at all

Ah, I think there is a mod that adds different colored crafting tables made of different wood. Make sure you use one made of the vanilla trees - oak, birch, jungle, or spruce.

winner winner, chicken dinner for you. that worked.

i made my base in the seriously huge Redwood tree, so i built the table out of that instead of oak.

That tree is f*cking insane.

Totally!

The only problem is it (weird to say about this huge ass tree) isn't wide enough for the stuff I've been building. I think after i figure out more of how things work i can streamline it and fit it all in a tree above ground. I've been planning a mob spawner in the higher portions of the tree. I think i'll have to line the hollow tree with stone, but it'll still be cool.

Natura crafting tables work in the latest version of the mod but not in the current release of unleashed. Should be fixed on the next update.

Is this new version for 1.5.2 or 1.6? Because if it's for the former, you could just install the latest version in it's place.
