Details of the issue:

Whenever I launch a pack after downloading the mods, I get a red message in the log saying: Unable to Launch.​

On the launcher go to options then click the force update button, then launch the modpack.

Thank you so much. I didn't realize the fix was as simple as this. I read other posts and ended up doing things like downloading new java versions and deleting and redownloading my libraries. Clicking force update worked for Banished. Now I'm going to try with other packs, but I assume it'll work. Thank you.
