So im trying to find info on Big Reactors, and i can't.. There seems to be no wiki and very little info, i found a video but it only shows a single reactor setup.

I want to know what setups are possible, Can i just make it whatever size i was in all 3 dimensions? as long as its full.

Also, Where do find 'blizzies' so i can use that other cooling stuff other than water (i think its meant to be better?)

Big Reactors, IIRC, can be any size (within reason) in all three dimensions. Blizzes are found in any snowy biome.

Pro-tip, you only need to place source blocks of coolant at the very top of your reactor, rather than filling the entire thing.

you're 100% Sure that it isn't more effective to place source at all positions?

Yep. There's been several people on here that have confirmed it, so I'm going off of what they say.

Do i need thaumcraft for blizzies to spawn?
I'm playing FTB Monster, with the 3 Thaumcraft mods disabled...
Because im in snowy atm and there is no mobs other than pigs as far the horizon.

Try waiting until the weather changes over, or look for another snowy biome. There's a chance that the one you're in isn't flagged as a possible spawning location.

Cryotheum source blocks actually fall, so you will need to fill it. Liquid ender is better anyway at least in the version I have (I think they plan on buffing Cryotheum though). You can also get Blizz powder by transposing destabilized redstone into snowballs.

Does this mean i have to fill all spots with source? or is the flow acceptable to cool? i don't understand it by the way you have worded it. it seems to contradict itself.

You can't have it flow from top to bottom because the source blocks are affected by gravity (if it doesn't have another source block to rest on, it will fall down leaving the other spaces as air). With liquids that can be placed at the top and stay there while creating flowing blocks beneath them, it's fine to just place one source per column.

When you place the Cryotheum, the source block will fall until it reaches the bottom. So to use it, you would have to fill the entire reactor.

Edit: Ninja'd

oh so you're saying it acts like Gravel or Sand, the will simply fall to the base, so i need to make alot of it, or just use water.

Blazing Pyrotheum (I haven't tested this)->Air->Water->Gelid Cryotheum->Resonant Ender
More heat -> Less heat

You can also use metal blocks but I haven't tried them, apparently the rarer they are the better.
