Bug No Thaumcraft Wands?!?!?

I look in JEI/NEI and no wands, I try to make the caps and it wont make them, WHYYYY?????
 
Assuming it's the 1.12 version, that's no bug. Now you start by breaking a thaumcraft crystal in the world and sleeping. That'll give you the info you need.
 
No, you don't get wands. Instead, you get to wield the infinity caster gauntlet. Complete with infinity focus stones that you can customize to your heart's content.

Why be Harry Potter when you can be Thanos?
