no redstone ore

i ported my default ftb world over to Mindcrack and im getting no redstone at all from my quarry which is right level this just a bug with porting?

redstone spawns below layer 16. it is around 100x as frequent as diamond.

try a wider quarry? If you run a 64x64 to bedrock and find no redstone something is either terribly wrong or you have the worst spawn seed in history.
