There is no forge mod loader log. The launcher took me straight to vanilla minecraft. No mods were loaded, including forge.Well, it does rule out a lot of things, but it doesn't give any real hints of what the problem actually is.
Next step would be the forge mod loader log located in C:/FTB/FTBBETAA/minecraft/
Use pastebin or the code tag when posting large logs.

same exact thing happened to me.There is no forge mod loader log. The launcher took me straight to vanilla minecraft. No mods were loaded, including forge.
There is no such file in the minecraft folder. Just 6 folders (bin, resources, saves, stats, texturepacks, & texturepacks-mp-cache) and a text file named options. In the minecraft folder generated by your launcher, there will be a log called ForgeModLoaderLog.txt
Well I need that stuff then^^^Did you close out of it or did it crash? Looks like it.
Also, OS and java types? Their bit types?
Launcher took me to the Minecraft startup screen, from which I clicked the exit button to close the application. Windows 7, 64 bit with 64 bit JavaWell I need that stuff then^^^
