Mac No mods downloaded

I downloaded FTB last night and it worked fine. this morning though it would not work at all. when i tried deleting the files and re-downloading it launches but no mods are downloaded. even in the launcher the FTB Beta A is empty when i click "edit mod pack". any ideas on why it doesn't work?

No, but from the people I've spoken with and personal experience the mac launcher can be nigh unusable at times. Move it in to a new directory, that should make it download all the files, and then you're probably better off just loading the FTB files in to MultiMC, at least that's the fix that helped several people on my server.
