No Desktop Shortcut

I was having issues installing the launcher, had to update my java. However I still have no FTB Launcher download shortcut. I have to Open my Downloads and run the installer to get it to launch. What have I done wrong?

There's no shortcut created, but you can create one yourself if you want one. Right click the launcher and select "create shorcut" - then move that to your desktop, if that's where you want it.
