Mac New World Pack downloads vanilla

When I download New World Pack for the first time on a Mac, it downloads as vanilla minecraft. I am running OSX version 10.8.3. Please help.

Check to make sure you have installed FTB the recommended way. Also make sure you have Java version 6 since you are using MacOSX. This guide will help with both.

After that please post your console log in debug mode to pastebin.com and link it here. This guide will help with that.
