new to servers, trying to learn

Hey everyone,
I'm new to MC servers and have a DW20 1.7.10 server that I am tinkering with and playing on. I want to put GriefPrevention on it, but I know it requires bukkit. This is really the only thing keeping me from setting one up for me and my friends.What is the best way to go about this?

Never mind. Bukkitforge looks like the solution.
