New server help

Hey there, so I just got a ftb ultimate server on tree puncher I have no experience with servers before and would like to get a few things set up.

Things I would like to have,
dynmap
some sort of permissions to allow way points and other stuff with out having to op people. I was thinking permissionsEx for that?
I would also like to get towny going as well.
If you happen to know of some step by step guide to get these setup that would be awesome! I have no experience with servers at all so as simple as possible would be nice. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

I wrote this guide earlier tonight, should help you get started

Plugins wise, you must get essentials, tekkit customizer (for item bans), good idea to get a block logger (id recommend core protect but its up to you) if you want a grief free server then get grief prevention and get the add on hex restrict for it.

Tbh, if you want to do something - theres usually a plugin for it, they tend to not be too difficult to set up, but first of all you need to figure out whether your going down the bukkitforge route, or the MCPC+ route, both have their drawbacks, and not all plugins work with each, for most permissions plugins can have issues with bukkitforge whereas dynmap will not work with mcpc+ overall I would say MCPC+ is better and has an easier installation but there are a lot of people who disagree with me, and rightly so, it really is a personal decision, and one that you should not let me, or any other individual decide for you.
