Well I was making mystcraft ages trying to get the symbols I want. Most the ages would work find ever so often one would crash the server but I could restart it and log back in and be in my new mystcraft age fine.

I made a age and clicked my book to go into the age and it crashed the server before the age loaded.. This has happened before but usually I just restart the server and load into the age and all is fine..

But this time I restart the server and it crashes the server everytime I try to enter the game.. Is my world now corrupt of is there a way to fix this? Like maybe a way to delete some char data or something so I spawn at the world spawn and not in the mystcraft ago its trying to put me in..

Thanks.

EDIT: BTW this is Mindcrack v6 with mystcraft that I installed. It was working fine..

You can delete your player data. Go into the world folder > players > yourname and delete that file. This should return you to your original spawn in the overworld. Just note, that if you delete this file, all inventory/items/everything that was on your character will be deleted as well.

It most likely won't fix the mystcraft world crashing you, but you can at least delete that book and continue to search for other symbols.

Use NBEdit to change your dimension to 0 (overworld) and create a new dimension.

Wow, read of a problem and then have it happen. using a similar setup, but Mindcrack v7.

I'll probably just cheat in a notebook at this rate since the ages that did load were failures as well -_-

Edit: tried the NBTEdit thing, but every time I go back into the game it resets it dimension 4 (the problem causer).

Ugh.

Another Edit: NBTEdit never worked no matter how many times I tried. What DID work, however, was me swapping the names of two of my ages. So instead of porting into age 4, which was broken, I ported into age 3 which I renamed to age 4 in the age data for that world. So what you could possibly do is make a new world, make an age in it, copy the data over to your survival world and rename it so you port into it instead.
