New launcher does not download working copy of Vanilla+ pack

I downloaded the Vanilla+ pack but when I tried to run it the minecraft launcher responded with "Sorry, unable to start minecraft. Please check your configuration."
So I nosed around and found the directory FTBA\bin\versions\1.7.10-forge1.7.10-1.7.10 but it is empty. Can I get this fixed?

Well finally got it to work. Had to download version 1.0.0 then when I reinstalled the 1.1.0 version it decided to start working and using forge1.7.10-10.13.4.1448 instead of the forge1.7.10-1.7.10 nonexistent version.
