Hey,

Just thought I'd pop in here and say SUP. Been playing modded FTB for a while yet took quite a brake until PO3 popped up :D which I started a let's play on. Its kinda rough as I have not touched modded for quite a while, but I am remembering a few things :)

I have some silly questions.
It was optifine that gave us connected textures ? if so anyone used this with PO3 ?
Any texture packs you recommend for PO3?

I currently have 32G ram. The game options / mod options via twitch (never used this) I dragged the ram up to its max but its only 10ish gig, any way to increase this ? Currently I dont have issues, I am just thinking ahead.

Anyway, thanks in advance :)

Welcome to forums! As far as activity goes, I think /r/feedthebeast is more popular right now, but I try to keep an eye on these forums as well. I think connected textures is handled by a mod called Connected Textures, but I could be wrong about that. I’m not sure why you can’t allocate more than 10 GB, but that shouldn’t be an issue for quite some time.

They were previously handled by Optifine, you’re right. But since Optifine isn’t included in most packs, I think connected textures is the go to.
