I used to play on the godcraft industrial server. Had alot of fun, but the server was regulated when it came to certain items. Which i really didnt like. Anyways that server died off and I stopped playing for the longest time. Then i stumble upon this little gem of a site. I was looking at the different packs and such. I know you can disable mods from their current pack. But can you add other mods to them that are not included in the pack?

So lets say i wanted to have redpower with the unleashed pack. Would that be possible? Is there a certain way to tell if a mod will be compatible with the other mods i have installed via the launcher? If i would want to add other mods im assuming the mod would have to be compatible for the current version of mincraft thats being used. Also is there a spot on the site that has the individule mods for download?

It is mostly a trial and error thing, for instance I really wanted galactic craft however it has ID conflicts with natura after some trial and error I was unable to resolve the conflicts so I just disabled natura since I do not overly care for it anyway. There are ID conflict resolving mods though I have never used one so I cannot vouch for its usefulness.
If you are hoping to use redpower on 1.5.x ftb you are out of luck (as far as I know) since the mod has not been updated.
If your patient as I said you CAN try to resolve ID conflicts by seeing what is crashing minecraft and changing whatever ID is the issue but it can take a long time and there will be much cursing involved.

The only way you could would be to match up the versions to 1.4.7 or earlier. RP2 has... well, become a ghost in the forums. You'd want a clean startup, and have RP2 downloaded ahead of time. After you run whatever pack you're using for the first time, go back into the folder it resides in, delete the /config folder, and then run FTB again. On the main screen, click the Edit Mod Pack button, and add RP2 there. Then run it again like you first did. It should auto-config all your block/item ID's so they won't interfere with eachother.

repower has been outdated since 1.5.2, there are other options you can choose to replace it if i recall right for 1.5.2 red logic and i heard 1.6.4 i think the name of the rebirth of redpower is called red logic

Shame. I really liked Redpower. It's nice to hear though that someone has brought it back. I should check it out sometime.
The last redpower update was in 1.4.x, as far as I know Eloraam has basically gone on hiatus for the foreseeable future.
This is also why the crew for Forge put in Multiparts, and Micro blocks into their core mod files when you get Forge. MFR (Mine Factory Reloaded) gives a similar version for cable and logic gate use for 1.5.2 or higher, but I'm still waiting for Soaryn to finish Xycraft so I can have inverted redstone lighting again in multiple colors, and multi-block shaped tanks of course.
