Hello,
I got something new on my bees since yesterday and i was wondering what it means, basically its the name of the bee and then there is a minus inbetween two klipps ( looks like: [-] )
I can't find some information about this, so would be nice if someone could tell me what it means.

thanks already!

Just a guess, but it could be a bee resulting from a swarmer or from being inoculated from a bad quality serum.

Aye, it means that eventually that strain will die out - every queen now has a chance to not produce a princess when she dies.

hm - i just inoculated a queen with a excellent serum, so this means i'll loose a princess ? and is it possible to get that "debuff" away if for example id get lucky and the queen does leave a princess or is it sure that the bee will die sometime cause i can't get the [-] away?

Are you sure it was an excellent serum? Sometimes it takes 2 passes to purify it.

She will die, don't think you can reverse it.

Yeah as above with the serums you have to make sure you leave them in the purifier until it stops running completely, it may do more than cycle before the excellent serum has 100% purity.

I get this when ever I just breed a new species
That's a necro-post you just made.

Old topic, now long since outdated. You're likely just suffering from a "new" "Feature" in forestry called "Ignoble Princcesses" which make some of the bees you gather in the world die off after a few generations. If you are actually not breeding Ignoble Princesses, you may be using a somewhat "new" feature of Forestry that makes forced breeding ruin your breeding stock. If your working speed is too high(all but impossible without a Alverary with Frame Housing installed and used) or mutation chance(same deal, except include the Mutator block), you have a chance to do this. My info on this topic is quite likely outdated to boot. But the bit about Ignoble Princesses is recent enough that you should worry. Or install Ex Nihilo. You can get extra bees from it if you are smart. Doesn't work for Magic Bees(yet), but it does for Extra Bees, so get species serums for Magic Bees starter Bees ASAP if you add it.

Actually it only passes in princesses. Drones are not pristine nor ignoble. And ignoble is ignored in beehouses
