never meet a cherry wood biome in single playerCherry wood Biome as in the Biome from BoP? The first step of course is to make sure you generate the world as a BoP world(it has it's own world type), the second is to either get lucky or disable biomes you don't need/want(and of course make sure that the Cherry Wood Biome isn't disabled).
Go into the config.
minecraft\config\biomesoplenty\biomegen.cfg
for the modpack.
Open that file, and just start setting biomes you want to true, and ones you don't want to false.

Note the more you have to true the rarer some biomes may become as there all cluttering for space, you could go 1000's of blocks and not find some biomes if you have them all on. Really recommend having just a small handful of ones you really like and leave out the rest.

I am guessing you are probably just using something like DW20 and only BoP as world gen. But if you are using something like ATG as world gen, you need to enable/disable the biomes of BoP in the ATG configs instead. It also contain "weights" for how often the specific biomes should occur.
If you're on DW, i'm pretty sure Cherry Blossom Biome is disabled by default, like 90% of the BoP biomes.
No I actually think the cherry blossom biome is one of the very few DW likes. If you watch his videos he actually lives in one of them.
I can give you the seed for my world when I get off work. ..I spawned in one.
