Nerf/Disable DartCraft on running server

Hello guys,
Im running a server for me and some friends and we recently installed FTB:unleashed 1.1.7. We never played a modded version of Minecraft before, so we played quite a time on our newly modded server. Now lately we discovered the Mod DartCraft and we all think its ridiculously overpowered and really spoils the game. Since we put already some effort in our world, I dont want to start all over again without DartCraft and I wondered if there is any way of disabling the mod while the server/world is still running or at least nerfing it abit like making force gems ultra rare or something.
There is an option for this in the config file of DartCraft but I dont know if this works in my situation snd I am in general unsure about changing config files while the server is running.

You'd have to go through the config file and have a look. There's no problem with messing with config files when the server is on, Any changes you make won't take effect until the server is rebooted. As for removing the mod, You can simply delete it from the mods folder on the server and it won't cause too many issues. The only problem with doing so is you will lose anything dartcraft you have in the world.
