nei question mark missing

Hey there guys, i hope you are having a great time in minecraft!

I recently updated to a modded instance of 1.6.4 and of cause nei is an essential part of minecraft. The thing is i'm missing the handy question mark when viewing a recipe. There could be many reasons as to why that is. I might be a derp and not realizing it's a config thing or i'm missing an addon? Or could it be a bug or unimplemented thing in the 1.6 port?

You should only get the question mark when looking at the recipe while in a valid 3x3 crafting grid.

Thank you, that was indeed the problem. Turns out that some of the biomes o plenty crafting tables aren't compatible with nei. Thank you very much

do note that there's more crafting blocks with that issue, from what I found out yesterday, the alternative Tinker's Construct crafting table also doesn't work with the question mark

I'm loving 1.6.4, but not everything is working well together yet. I (still) can't get 2.3.0.x (just updated to 2.3.0.6) Forestry recipes to show up in NEI and IC2 exp recipes in AE aren't completely reliable, either. I'm running the latest versions of all these.

I figure the overall package of common mods are in beta interop and some inter-mod bugs are going to have to be worked through.

Not sure about AE, but NEI does have plugins that you might be missing.

Good point, lavarthan. I just checked....and....ah hah ! I had just neiaddons installed, but not yet NEIPlugins.
