NEI Highlight tips help

Sorry for a thread for such a simple question but couldn't find any info anywhere.

By default the highlight tips show up at top right of screen. This conflicts with mini map.
Yes I could move the mini map but I don't want to.

Question: Is there a way I can move the highlight tips to show at top center of screen?
NEI configs seem to not have an option for this unless I am missing the obvious.
Any help appreciated. Thx for reading.

I do not think you can move the highlight tips.
Although you can change the location of the minimap, this will be difficult to get used to but you will eventually.
To do this:
1. Press your minimap menu button (M by default)
2. Find the "Location" button
3. Select Top Left (or whatever you want)

That's like having your minimap in the top right for WoW. -shudders-

Thx for your help. Though it's now a little redundent, as the latest NEI shows the highlight tips in the center top of screen as I desired by default.
I had seen people on Forgecraft server with the highlight tips in the center several weeks ago. And had assumed they had configured it so.
But it seems they were just using the newer NEI.
