Bug NEI Crashing Constantly

For some reason, whenever I try and startup my game with NEI installed, it crashes before the Mojang screen even appears. If someone who knows what they are doing could look at my crash log that I have linked below and help me fix this it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Are you using the 1.8 version of NEI on an earlier version of Minecraft? The current official forum link defaults to 1.8, even though most people are playing modded MineCraft 1.7.10, and you have to select from the dropdown box to get a list of earlier versions.

First off, do you have Chicken Code Core downloaded? If you don't, there is your problem! They have to go together! If you have this downloaded then make sure they have corresponding versions. Hope this was helpful!

I have it. I choosed an older version and it worked.
