Request Need help!

Hello, I just heard of FTB and Crash Landing Survival from a youtuber I watch. I liked the modpack and so decided to install the client and modpack.

Here is my problem...
My client seems to be very very laggy and tends to not respond every few minutes which gets really annoying. I'm not sure if there are specific specs I need to run the client or am I just doing something wrong?
My Anti virus (Eset Smart Security 7) does block something before launch but it doesn't seem to effect it from launch it but it might be why it is very laggy.

Please tell me if there is something I can do, Thanks.

Turn off clouds, minimize particles, fast graphics, tune down render distance.
