So I have a Windows computer and I play the Direwolf20 pack all the time. But then I accidentally removed the folder with everything so I had nothing left of my FTB.

Then I went to the website and re-downloaded the .jar of the launcher. I opened up the launcher, everything loaded then I click "Launch" with the Direwolf20 pack highlighted and since it got deleted it downloaded the pack. The usual Downloading Window came up and I don't download things that fast on this computer so it usually takes a couple minutes to download the DW pack. But it flickers away and then the second downloading window comes and only downloads the Natives folder. I re-tried with the executable version of the launcher but it still does the same thing.

Please help as soon as possible. :D

you're not the only one who is having this problem -- i was trying to get the latest Monster modpack and it resulted in only the Natives forlder for me too.

Welcome Simon, and belated welcome to AlanEsh. Could both of you please post a console log to pastebin.com To do this ensure that in the Options tab that 'Show Console?' and 'Reopen launcher after exiting minecraft?' have check marks next to them. Then restart the launcher and try to download the pack. After it fails click on the 'Paste my log to pastebin.com' button. This will add a link at the bottom of the console that you post here so we can see your log.

[INFO] JavaFinder.parseWinJavaVersion:140: Preferred: Java Version: 1.6.0_05 sorted as: 1.6.0_5 32 Bit Java at : C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_05\bin\java.exe
You have two versions of Java installed. An older version of 7 and a really old version of 6. As quoted above for some reason the launcher is preferring the older Java 6 version. Please follow the basic troubleshooting guide to get updates for that and to reinstall the launcher. This will get your computer up to date and hopefully solve the connection problems.
