I've got a SP survival FTB Monster game going on and am just getting into Applied Energistics. Basic AE system with MAC up and running no problem. I'm really intrigued by the idea of using tesseracts to not only send power out to my farms, quarries, etc but also to use the same tesseracts to send back fluids and items. But I'm having problems getting it all to work.
I've got a tesseract setup in my main base that is next to my AE system and feeding it power. That works. I also put an AE interface on one face of the tesseract and can use it to send items from a remote quarry. That works. And I can put a fluid interface from ExtraCells on it and send in oil from a remote pump to store on a fluid drive. That works. But when I try to do all three from the same tesseract on the channel, it doesn't work. And I can't seem to figure out how to send specific items back out the same tesseract to other places (like for example if I had a couple of farms pumping wheat into my AE system through a tesseract and then using that same tesseract to send wheat out to a remote MFR breeder).
Am I trying to do something that is beyond the scope of how this is supposed to work? Do I need to have different fluids on different tesseract channels, meaning that I also need a separate tesseract pair for each type of fluid I want to send around?
Can I both send a receive items and fluids through the same tesseract? Does that require multiple item and/or fluid interfaces attached to different faces?
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
