Need help UN-installing a texture pack

When I launched the ultimate mod pack on FTB launcher, I decided to use the soartex fanver texture. I suddenly get 0 fps and I cant select the standard minecraft texture. Is there any way I can put it back to normal without launching the actual game?
BTW some strategies I have already tried: creating new account; re-installing the launcher; clearing cache and deleting the texture pack out of the FTB folder (but just re-installs it).

All you should need to do is load minecraft to the menu, then go to the texture pack button, and choose the new pack.

Totally deleting the FTB folder and reinstalling the launcher will also work.

minecraft wont load, as soon as it gets to the menu it freezes with 0 FPS. iv already deleted and reinstalled it as well, didn't work. but thanks anyway

Just delete the texture pack from the textures folder, mc will revert to standard textures

Thing is, totally deleting your FTB folder or just the texture pack should solve the problem. The texture pack won't magically appear unless you reinstall the pack manually.

Make sure you are deleting the entire FTB folder and redownload the launcher and start afresh.

The menu should still work though, regardless of the texture pack. The texture pack will slow down MC from loading to start with, but the menu should display just fine.

Find your FTB folder, -> Ultimate -> minecraft -> options.txt, find the line that says skin: and change it to skinefault

if the texture pack is not there and it still won't run its not the textures causing your problem
