I have been trying to download the launcher for ftb on windows for several hours with no luck. I downloaded the launcher a few days ago and played the revelations? pack i believe for about 30 minutes and now cannot find the launcher to play again. so i tried to redownload and nothing happens. When i click the download button it opens to update a preexisting thing or start a new directory. ive tried both. I have uninstalled the ftb launcher and tried to reinstall. no luck. Please help been at this for several hours and just want to play.

Tech Support section is for getting help with FTB related problems. If there's a repeatable issue that can be labeled as a bug, then please use the issue tracker for the pack or the app at GitHub issue trackers - If there's no repository for a pack that means that the pack is old and/or will not be updated. Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. I'm unable to install. It stalls at "Preparing the Install4J Wizard" then I get timed out after a while
If this helped. There seems to be a new version of the launcher out now and the installer worked for me
