Need Help [Sorting System]

Hey,

I'm building a sorting system with pneumatic tubes + barrels for most of the items. I want all the ores that is possible to macerate and/or smelt and coming into the sorting system, to macerate and/or smelt. There is a barrel (with extra-dimensional storage) with cobble, if the barrel is full, I want it to 50/50 macerate and smelt.

What is the best way to do it?

I got an ender chest with a filter above it, connected to the pneumatic tubes directly to the sorting system.

I believe that since you are using pneumatic tubes, with the cobblestone, you can get two lines going, but be sure to put in an inventory like a filter on both paths that are at an equal distance from each other, then the tubes are smart enough to divide evenly. Dire did it with his recyclers. He has 2 hoppers on either side making two paths and they stay pretty even. For being compact on the ores, it is best to use Thermal Expansion pulverizer and furnace as they can transport items between each other without the use of pipes once configured appropriately. I'm using Dire's world, but I have made a few additions to the sorting system to make it a bit more efficient and keep it from backing up. I can't get a picture up right now though. You could check out the managers from RedPower. They seem to have a nice layout. I was thinking of making a design to have a manager on each chest or machine and since they have a ton of space for what you want sorted it could be really customized. Might be something worth looking into.
