Solved Need help setting up permissionsEX

I am trying to set up a server with the PermissionsEX using ChatEx as my chat plugin (to get the colour) and it does not work

You have just the &1 for color and no text so nothing will show up, add in some text after the color or you can add I the color before player and after prefix in the chat config.

instead of '&1'

try '&1rank name'

see how that works out

do u mean literally "rank name" or the rank name (eg "owner")

The rank name you want for it like '&1moderator' and '&8nerd'

We can't make your server for you, think about it for a minute, what I said above that's not a command, world, or inheritance, so it must be either the prefix or the suffix and either one of those will work.

in the permissions file it says im in the owner group but wen i log in it does not come up with a prefix even though the owner group has a prefix
