I've been trying to set up a HTGR following several online guides but the highest temperature i've achieved up until now is just 250°C.
It is two layers high and has a CO² heat exchanger surrounded by four pebble bed reactor cores every layer.
I've covered the sides in a layer of concrete and the top and bottom are "insulated" with Thermal Dynamics pipes.
Do pipes from that mod actually insulate the reactor?
Is it an insulation problem at all?
Is the problem that i've built the reactor at Y: 55?
I really don't know what the problem is, following the tutorials online I should have a setup now that generates over 10 million RF/t but it doesn't even generate enough heat to produce a tiny bit of heated CO²
I really hope someone can help me with this
