Hi all, I recently picked up FTB Direwolf 20 pack 1.6.4 and decided to start playing again solo to get a feel for some of the changes. I figured I'd have a go and add in Biomes O' Plenty this time around and I landed smack into a swamp but next to this swamp I found a lovely area to call home.
Now as far as biomes o plenty is concerned this is a Sacred Springs biome which has that nice spring water and lots of leaves... seriously leaves and cows are in abundance here. But Its inhabited by these giant oak trees and I've tried searching on google for where they come from but it doesn't seem to match any that I've been able to track down. Any photos with Sacred Springs from Bo'P shows no trees, only mountains and shrubbery, think this may be another mod?
I thought it might be Natura since I believe that has several large trees but I just haven't seen this particular one before. At any rate, I love them. I've already made myself a tree house in one and there is lots of room in this tree. I have 7 floors and in the process of making a glass dome farm/greenhouse enclosure on the top. Just need to get used to the small spiders that cause blindness.
Also of note, you can indeed run a Tinkers Construct Smeltery in a tree and not burn down your home.
